Merdeka! Merdeka! Merdeka! Malaysiaku Gemilang!

What is so important with Merdeka? Well, it means our country got freedom and no more being British colony or be monopolised by other power. We have a democratic system which everyone stands a chance to vote for the government, to elect the suitable representatives for them. Alright, now that’s all bit information about our beloved Malaysia. What I am going to talk about is what we did to show how much we love Malaysia. At the earlier of the Eighth month, IPBL suggested that every class must create a banner with the theme of ‘Malaysiaku Gemilang’. Well, it was no more a suggestion, all the class monitors had a meeting with the JPPs and came out to become a competition between classes! Without any objections from our class (I think so), we all decided to let the professionals to do our job. We handed this prestigious job to Mr Jordan to send it to Kedai Fotostat in Satok area. There would have very skilful people to help us do designs, colours editing and printing and so on, sounds like very interesting. Actually, it is not that difficult and we manage to do it our own, we can buy a piece of white cloth and paint it ourselves. I believe our class got this talent to do it. We really have it! It was just at that moment we were all packed with assignments like doing scrapbooks, literature analysis, ICT, and etc. So we had to sacrifice this meaningful loving Malaysia banner. We did not have enough time to buy paints to design the banner. Besides that, the expenditure was also a problem. After our class accurately calculated out the class expenses under the lead of Aimi, the thrifty treasurer, so we decided to use rm68 (if im not mistaken) to employ the professionals to do our banner rather than buying paints which hm…… would be over budget. Like this, we could be more focused on our ASSIGNMENTS and would not feel stressful and some people would not freak out when he or she could not finish the work in time. See, what a great deal! Lastly, we managed to hand in the banner in time, thanked to Mr Jordan again who went to Satok to get the banner done. But… we found out the ‘Malaysiaku Gemilang’ was not obvious!!! After all, who cares anymore, at least we processed something out and it belongs to Otago 1, like our BABY. At last, everyone smiled while taking photo with our baby banner.

SMILE... ;p
